SNOW

This is a painting I did today in my new sketch book of the heavy snow I can see falling onto my backyard from my bedroom window.

Heron woodcut state 3.

This time I printed the grey for the craters on the moon and the two tones of grey for the Heron. Next will be a dark grey for the details of the bird then a final a print of black to complete the print.

Autumn colours

Above is a photo taken at St Albans yesterday. I am very inspired to paint some autumn pictures with the great variety of colours that the leaves are changing.
