Roof tops of Montmatre paris.

I did this ink and charcoal drawing from a bedroom window where I stayed in Paris last week. This is one of 17 drawings I did during my 5 day trip. I intend to frame them all hang and present them as one unified piece.

Heron woodcut completed.

This is the largest and most ambitious print I have created so far. Being 39 x 50cm and printed 5 times from 2 blocks. Making a total print edition of 14 with 6 artist proofs. Over this coming year I intend to make and experiment with more print making techniques.

Today I printed the dark grey for the wing, beak, feathers and legs.

Painting my mantel piece.

On my mantel piece is a random collection of things I have found, bought, been given and created over the past year. And it is this randomness that makes it the perfect subject for a still life painting.
