Working on my Sparrow sculpture

I have begun working on a new sculpture called The Sparrow and Bread Crumb. Here I am cutting out the basic shape of the bird from red gum using an axe.

Leonard Cohen

Started Chalk drawing on Swanson St in Melbourne again, the first time in 5 years. Thought I would kick it off with Leonard Cohen as he is touring Australia at the moment.

Sculpture!

It is good to know that sculpture can provide a functional purpose in our daily lives!

Nose Sculpture

I have recently finished this marble nose sculpture, it stands 55cm high floating on a blue stone block. I am going to get a small plark made for the base that says: In remembrance to all the sculptures throughout history who have had their noses smashed off! (this sculpture has been modelled of my own nose).
